We make sure to have innovative, new technologies in our dental office.

CBCT Scans (cone-beam computed tomography) — A digital scan that rotates around your head to capture 3D images of your mouth
Glidewell Fastmill.io (In-Office Milling) — Crowns are made same-day, in-house at Kali Dental!
SprintRay (3D printer) — We do in-house printing for retainers and nightguards
TRIOS (IntraOral Scanner) — This helps scan the inside of the mouth. No goopy impressions!

We know that visiting the dentist can cause a lot of anxiety. So, we want to do all we can to make sure you're at ease during your visit with us. We offer amenities such as neck pillows, blankets, in-house entertainment (i.e. TV, music), and free lip balm. All you have to do is sit back and relax. We'll handle the rest!

MEET YOUR DENTIST

DR. KALVIN NGUYEN

Dr. Kalvin was born and raised in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Dentistry drew him in because he wants to provide a renewed quality of life. Nobody should have to deal with pain! He wants to ensure his patients can chew properly and feel comfortable and confident with their smile. ‍

The first step was getting a Bachelor's Degree. He graduated from University of California, Irvine (UCI). He then continued his education, where he completed his dental schooling at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California (USC).

He then sought to complete his residency program to further refine his dentistry skills. He spent 5 years in Oklahoma and eventually returned home to Orange County, California to open up his practice, Kali Dental!

Now that Dr. Kalvin is back in OC, you can find him trying new restaurants on his foodie list or crafting his own dishes at home! He enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and going for a run on the weekends.

He also spends a lot of time with his precious cat, Wooli.
